Ed Perez

Ed originally hails from the great state of Texas where he first learned the trade of landscaping. As a young adult Ed lived all over the West continuing to hone his landscaping skills.

He eventually found himself in New York state, where he apprenticed under skilled landscapers and learned to create everything from inventive hardscapes to beautiful backyards.

After spending nearly two-decades in New York he decided it was time to move back to a more temperate climate. This brought him south to Charleston, South Carolina. He has been transforming both residential and commercial properties into beautifully landscaped properties in Charleston for the last 20 years.

Yair Laredo

Yair Laredo is the project foreman and Ed’s “right-hand-man” at Blue Garden Landscaping. Born and raised in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Due to its mild climate, beautiful, colonial architecture and verdant plant life, Guanajuato is often referred to as “The Jewel of the Americas.”

Growing-up in an agricultural family, surrounded by the lush vegetation of the region, Yair learned to both enjoy and care for plants.

After immigrating to the United States, Yair learned the landscaping trade beyond plant care. He specializes in creating and installing plantscapes, hardscapes and then illuminating them so they can be enjoyed during warm, Charleston nights. Yair’s installations allow Blue Garden Landscaping customers to enjoy their landscaping at any time of the day or evening.

Wyatt Searle

Wyatt provides installation and maintenance services for Blue Garden Landscaping.

Wyatt moved to Charleston in 2017 from Utah, with a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors. He began working for Blue Garden in 2018 and has been Ed’s go-to for maintenance and installation ever since.

In addition to plant care Wyatt specializes in the installation of fencing, irrigation systems, patios and pavers.
